Set in Mountjoy Prison, the story is about four long-term prisoners who sign up for a drama project - the staging of Martin McDonagh's "The Lonesome West" in the prison auditorium. This mixture of composition and observation documentary maximizes the reality of prison life that is set against a totally new dynamic for the four prisoners - a public staging of the play.
